I go through my wardrobe pretty frequently at least once a month and I always find a piece of clothing that I really want to keep but don’t have any use for so I always try and upcycle them to make them work for me again. Now every bone in my body is creative but I am like the least handy person I know and I suck at DIY projects however painting is something I’m really passionate about and it’s the easiest way to turn an old Jean jacket into a statement piece. It took me 4 days to make this piece but that’s with drying and washing and drying before each new coat of paint.
This is the back middle of the jacket. It’s very simplistic yet still one of a kind. I’ve been in a pink mood lately and I love the graphic. I don’t think it looks cheap or sloppy just, well, handmade. Which is what I was going for.
